Police have issued CCTV as they continue the hunt for a man who stabbed a bus driver in the eye with a Stanley knife.

The 41-year-old man was driving a route 227 bus down Penge High Street on 30th June last year when a man, holding the hand of a child, walked in front of the bus.

The bus driver broke hard and them challenged them, then the suspect kicked at the bus doors. He drove off, but was held at red lights.

The suspect then ran towards the open window of the bus and used a stanley knife to puncture the driver's eye.

Miraculously, no permanent damage was sustained to the drivers' sight.
