Police have released CCTV of a man taking a woman’s phone from her pocket as they appeal for help.

The incident happened around 3:30pm on Saturday, February 25 at The Glades Shopping Centre on High Street in Bromley.

A 52-year-old woman was shopping in New Look when she felt a man and a woman brush past her. She then noticed her phone was gone.

The video shows a man holding out a scarf and appearing to slip his hand into the woman’s pocket.

Both suspects in the incident are described as having a south Asian or Mediterranean appearance. The woman is around 5ft 5ins tall with a medium build and in her 20s.

The man is described as 6ft tall and aged about 30. He was wearing glasses at the time of the incident.

Police now want to speak to the man and woman in the CCTV footage.
