Goodybe speed cameras... but at the expense of road safety?

Nick discusses ending the war on motorists, but at what price?

Will you be sad to see speed cameras go? Figures suggest less than 4% of accidents are caused by exceeding the speed limit, but is the coalition government ending the 'war on motorists' at the expense of safety? What about David Davis' alleged Brokeback coalition jibe? Something to be taken seriously or just the usual political mockery? It costs us the taxpayer £250,000 to change someone's identity. We've already done it once for James Bulger's killer John Venables - should we really do it again when he's next let out of jail? Why shouldn't we be allowed to know his identity for his latest crime?

There's been an increase in massage parlour applications around the 2012 Olympics site - should we be worrying about this? An update from Germany after 19 people were killed at Love Parade. Marks & Spencer has introduced a super-size range of school uniforms for overweight children as young as four - isn't this completely overlooking the fact that parents shouldn't be letting their kids get this big? Plus, should criminals be given lighter sentences if they say sorry? Would you really want to meet the perpetrator if you were the victim?

I'll be back tomorrow morning from 7am.
