Sex Lessons for Your Four Year Old Child

A group of MPs have called for compulsory sex education for under 11s.

Britain's involvement in the slave trade is to be studied by all secondary pupils in England from this September. World War I, WWII and the Holocaust are already compulsory - but figures like Churchill and Hitler will no longer be mentioned on the curriculum by name while Wilberforce and Equiano will be.  Nick wanted to know why this part our history was so important in the modern curriculum.

 

Motorists are being warned that they could be caught speeding by a police helicopter armed with a radar detection device. More that 20 signs are being put up in Essex telling drivers that police are watching from the sky.
