To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Barack Obama's inauguration as President of the United States of America, Nick Ferrari is heading out on the road to find out how he is getting on.
The Sony Speech Broadcaster of the Year will be presenting live from three American cities in three days next week to see what Americans make of their President.
Monday 18th January - live from Chicago
Just over a year since his trip for the election, Nick returns to Barack Obama's hometown.
Nick
will find out how the people of Chicago think their hometown boy is doing as President.
Tuesday 19th January - live from Detroit
Nick will then hop in a car and drive to the Motor City, one of the cities that has been most affected by the economic downturn. How are the big three car companies - GM, Ford and Chrysler - coping in the recession and how do the business leaders think Obama is coping so far.
Wednesday 20th January - live from Washington DC
He will then round off his road trip in the capital. From a studio close to the Capitol Building and The White House, Nick will be speaking to the decision makers in DC - those that have worked with Obama to discover whether he has lived up to his election promises.
Throughout his trip, Nick will be joined by LBC's Political Correspondent Tom Cheal, who will be speaking to the American public on their perception of Obama one year on.
