No Cut To London Police Numbers

LBC 97.3 has learnt there will be no cut to police numbers in London.

Ahead of the Mayor's budget announcement next week, there has been speculation that up to 17 hundred officers would go over the next two years because of spending cuts.

But Kit Malthouse, the deputy mayor for policing, has confirmed the money has now been secured.
