Olympic Organisers "Out of Touch" Over Tickets
Wednesday 22nd February 2012LBC hass been told the Government and London 2012 organisers are 'out of touch with normal people' over Olympic tickets.
Olympics Minister Hugh Robertson told us last week it woud be a 'distraction' to release specific details on ticket sales before the final batch are sold in April.
But Baroness Dee Doocey - who chairs the Olympic committee on the London Assembly - has told us that is simply not good enough.
London 2012 organisers are also being asked to reconsider their "utterly wrong decision" to charge spectators for the Olympics cycling road race at Box Hill.
Baroness Doocey has also told LBC 97.3 she will be questioning LOCOG next month
"I'm very unhappy about that. We were promised that cycling was going to be free and I think for them to go back on that promise now, is totally wrong. I am going to ask them seriously to reconsider that decision. I think it is completely and utterly wrong."
