Morning Team!
What's that smell? Go on…have a good sniff…do you like it? Does it invoke memories of a more innocent time….or does it just stink to high heaven? We stumbled onto the subject of favourite smells during this mornings programme and lots of you got in touch with yours, which included puppies breath and even Bromley bus garage! Smells a bit fishy to me!
Oii fatty, put down that pie! You could soon be hearing these words (or some to that effect) from your GP, as they have been ordered to stop calling overweight patients obese and just refer to them as fat! I think it's an excellent idea…why waste time beating around the bush? Regular listeners to the show will know that I just have to tell it as it is; if someone's a lardy then I'll be the first to tell them they're a lardy, if someone's abnormally short, then I'll tell them as much, just ask the producer! Talking of the Chinese midget, Paul Savory had some excellent news for her this morning….he came in today, armed with his usual plethora of stories from the Far East and one of the tales featured a 3ft tall man! It's a match made in heaven ladies and gentlemen, not only is he the right height, but he's Chinese too! I'm surprised she didn't hobble out of the studio as fast as her bound feet could carry her in search of her prince charming! You see there's someone in this world for everyone….even Nathan Morley has managed to snare a wife! We had our usual two-way with our man in Cyprus this morning and he told us about the terrible trouble he's having with a huge snake at the moment. Its suck in a net outside of his house and it's getting angry…..let's hope it doesn't escape and decide that Mr Chas looks like a tasty treat!
Roger Foss also joined us this morning to give us his theatre hit and misses of the week, have a listen back to the podcast for that, but be warned, you're likely to crave a plate of chips and egg afterwards…..
