Monday 16th September 2013

Police are appealing for help to find a man who stripped naked on a busy train.

Barrow naked train

Officers have released two images of the man they wish to speak to following the incident at 11.45pm on Sunday 11th August.

PC Gez Cooper said: "A woman in her forties was travelling on a train between Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness with her teenage daughter.

"During the journey, she turned around to talk to her daughter and noticed that a man, who was with a group of men, had removed all of his clothes and was behaving inappropriately towards women passengers.

"The mans actions were utterly inappropriate and distressing for many of the passengers on board the service.

"We treat incidents of this nature very seriously and would encourage anyone who was on the train and witnessed what happened to contact us.

"If you recognise the man pictured, or know his whereabouts, then wed like to hear from you."
