Natalie Bennett is the leader of the Green Party in the UK, having taken over from Caroline Lucas in 2012.

Ms Bennett was born in Australia and studied in the US and worked in Thailand, before moving to Britain in 1999.

In the 2010 Election, she finished fourth in the Holborn & St Pancras by-election and contested the same seat again in 2015.

She is stepping down as leader in the summer of 2016.
