Pupil Expelled After Throwing Custard Pie At Teacher

Wednesday 28th May 2014

A pupil has been arrested after he threw a custard pie at a teacher in an end of term prank.

End of term pranks have been described as a tradition at Altringham Grammar and Jacob Dowdle took part by pushing a custard pie - actually a plate of whipped cream - into the face of a teacher.

She went on to report him and the 18 year old was taken to a police station questioned on suspicion of common assault.

He was given a warning and told to apologise but after the incident was published on Facebook was expelled. He has been told he can return to take his A-Levels.

He has launched an online petition to be reinstated.
