Police Chief Backs Officer Who Swore At Biker

A Police Chief Constable has backed an officer under investigation for sticking his middle finger up at a rider, saying they should be focussing on the "thug on a bike" instead.

A video on social media shows an officer in a police van appearing to give a troublesome biker the middle finger.

West Midlands Police branded the behaviour as "unacceptable" and said they would be investigating the officer.

But Chief Constable Dave Thompson tweeted:
