Video has emerged online of the moment people ran for cover after a van ploughed into crowds in Barcelona.

It shows a group of people appearing to use a shop as an escape route following the terror attack in the city of Las Ramblas.

It was uploaded to YouTube, a short while after the white van hit a group of pedestrians, killing at least 13 people and injuring 50 others.

One eye witness told LBC he saw the vehicle be driven at “100kph” before it ploughed into passerbys.
