To Let Sign Housing

The wonderful Mary in Hammersmith calls Iain Dale to say that gentrification is so bad, she's been forced to agree with Nigel Farage for once!

"I've lived here for over 30 years, in social housing," Mary told Iain. "The prices are going up and up and up and it is definitely the policy of this government to create a housing bubble.

"There are plenty of people renting houses around here who do not live in the area. In fact some of them don't even live in the country.

"To my horror, I had to agree with Nigel Farage about something, when he said: I don't approve of people who buy houses and don't even live in the country.

"I don't want to agree with Nigel Farage thank you!"

Mary continued to charm Iain - not only with her brilliant personality but also with her insight into the impact gentrification is having on the capital.
