Iain Dale's Stinging Attack On SNP Over Referendum Threat
Iain Dale tells a senior member of the SNP that they haven't got the guts to have a second independence referendum - because they know they'll lose it.
Sounds like Iain Dale is getting fed up of the SNP threatening a second independence referendum - he thinks they know they'd lose if they had one now.
Humza Yousaf, SNP MSP for Glasgow, joined Iain in the wake of Theresa May's independence vote challenge to Nicola Sturgeon.
When Yousaf called a second indy referendum a "matter of principle" in the wake of Brexit, Iain fired straight back at him: "Nicola Sturgeon is waltzing around Brussels like she's a Prime Minister, not a First Minister.
"Call it now, call it now.
"If it's a matter of principle, call it now!"
Humza asked him: "Why should we call it now?"
Iain's response? "Because you'll lose, that's why!"
