Mum Tells Jamie: Button It On Breastfeeding

Jamie Oliver has announced that his next crusade will be getting more mums breastfeeding - but this passionate mum thinks he should keep his opinions to himself.

Iain Dale took some brilliant calls from women like Robin, above, who were irritated that Oliver called breastfeeding "easy" in an LBC interview this morning.

The celebrity chef - who won a big victory with the Sugar Tax's introduction in the Budget yesterday - told LBC earlier: "We have the worst breastfeeding in the world.

"If you breastfeed for more than six months, women are 50% less likely to get breast cancer. When do you ever hear that? Never.

"It's easy, it's more convenient, it's more nutritious, it's better, it's free."

Iain's female callers were very annoyed that a man was telling them what to do with their bodies and Robin summed it up with this killer line: "We didn't know what to do with our nipples until Jamie Oliver popped his head above the parapet!"

"It's official, I can't stand him...it's beyond me...who did not know that breast milk was the best thing for your baby?"

It's not just mums who were irritated at Oliver, Iain gave the chef a piece of his mind too:
