A "Disgrace" For Theresa May To Dodge TV Debates, Says Iain Dale

The Prime Minister says she won't be taking part in any pre-election TV debates and Iain Dale says it's very poor form.

A spokesman for the PM said "Our answer is no. The choice at this election is already clear."

Jeremy Corbyn, Nicola Sturgeon and Tim Farron were quick out of the blocks to criticise May's decision - but Iain Dale was even more ticked off, describing the decision as "an absolute disgrace".

"If the choice is that clear, wouldn't you think the Prime Minister would want to appear in debates to make it even more abundantly clear to everybody?

"You should do it if you're a national politician...I think that is part of the democratic process."

Iain wants broadcasters to empty chair May if she won't turn up for debates and says he'll do the same on his LBC show.

Over to you Prime Minister...
