'Night clubs changed my life.' James O'Brien explains why we should all care about the closure of Fabric.

James tore into the decision by Islington Council to revoke the club’s license in this furious rant.

"I’m speaking you as someone with an abiding fondness for club culture," he said, reminiscing about his time in clubs in the late 1980s. But he says that this affair affects more than just those who appreciate London’s nightlife.  

"You're looking at a story that is important to anybody who doesn’t think that politicians, whether local or national, should be able to ride roughshod over the electorate with impunity.”
