Maajid: "I Would Pay More Tax To Save The NHS"

Maajid Nawaz: "I would pay more tax to save our NHS. It's a matter of national pride."

Maajid Nawaz says he would pay more tax to save our NHS as “it's a matter of national pride."

Talking on his LBC show Maajid said that he would happily pay more in National Insurance contributions to save the ‘crumbling’ NHS.

"I personally would pay more on my national insurance contributions if it meant saving what is, I believe, a globally recognised institution of excellence.

"It’s a matter of national pride, people from all over the world look to our NHS as bastions, as a symbol of what it means to be British. It stands on its own as a symbol of excellent health care."
