The US Ambassador to Britain has told LBC the rhetoric of the presidential election can be alarming and offputting.

It's just one week to go until Americans go to the polls, with both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton showing low approval ratings.

Ambassador Matthew Barzun says it can be alarming, but it has always been so, going back 250 years.

The Ambassador also told us he thinks American voters are concerned about the vagueness of the investigation into Hillary Clinton.
