Nigel Farage Talks to camera

Nigel Farage believes Britain should be more like America when it comes to court trials.

On Thursday, the president of the UK’s Supreme Court, Lord Neuberger, criticised how some media outlets portrayed judges during the Brexit legal row.

One headline called the three judges who ruled against the government in the Article 50 case at the High Court, “enemies of the people”.

During a debate on whether judges were off limits when it comes to criticism, Nigel Farage had a radical idea.

“I think, just as we do in America, trials in this country, Crown Court and upwards, should be televised,” he said on his LBC show.

“So we can make our own minds up on whether the money we spend is being spent on the right people.”

“I think even more transparency would be an idea!”
