Boris Reveals: I Got Mistaken For Donald Trump In New York
The Mayor answers a New Yorker's hilarious question about his haircut.
Boris Johnson has told LBC that he's been mistaken for the outspoken billionaire on the streets of New York.
He was answering a question from Valerie in New Jersey during the stateside version of Ask Boris this morning. She wanted to know: "Do you really get your hair cut that way?"
Boris described it as " a very kind" and "interesting" question, adding "it's better than the other question I was asked! I was walking down the street and somebody was taking my photograph and a young woman stopped and said: 'Is that Trump?'"
Nick Ferrari jumped in to say that Boris was surely more famous - and richer - than Donald Trump, who has a net worth estimated at more than £2.6bn.
"Exactly right," joked Boris, before adding: "Enough of this personal onslaught at this time of the morning in New York!"
