The chickens you buy in the supermarket… are they all female? If so, how do they get them all to be female?

Answer: They are indeed all chicken. They are sex-linked to ensure 99% of them are female. They are essentially genetically-modified so that they only lay eggs that are female. Any male ones are wastage and are often gassed to provide food for snakes. This is because male chickens tend to have a tougher meat.
