After taking off his top one evening, this caller thought he smelt like his father and wondered why that was.

Is body scent a hereditary feature?

Answer:

Mammals have the smame genetic scent as their mother so that the parent can identify their children. The reason they could have smelt like their father could be due to the environment they have been brought up in.
