Why is chickenpox more dangerous for adults than for children?

Answer: Adults have to get a larger dose of the virus and only get it when their immune system is down. The older you are the worse it is because you have to have a larger dose of the virus for it to affect you because your immune system has built up. Adults general wont get chickenpox if they are healthy.
