Ramsay recommendations
Apart from his foul language and poor social skills, we actually quite like Gordon Ramsay; he definitely knows his food regardless of anyone’s opinion. He's the super star chef to the stars and if there is anything you need to know about eating out - he'll know.
We'd like to think that we are experts ourselves here at LBC when it comes to food, but with an opportunity to get some top dining out tips from chef Gordon Ramsay we just couldn't resist setting him a challenge.
Can he give us a good selection of child friendly restaurant where we won't find ourselves forcing dinosaur shaped fish mush into our mouths? We picked the food guru's brains as to the nicest places to take the kids out for a meal (and we aren't talking about McDonald's Happy Meals here!).
Memories Of China is a great place in West Kensington. With it's tables large enough to sit the whole family around, there is a selection of mouth watering delights that will have your kids excited about Chinese food. It's not the normal stuff you find in typical Chinese restaurants, all crammed with MSG.
Chez Bruce is another family favourite. With a fantastic selection of dishes on the menu it can tempt even the fussiest of children to try something different. One that is always difficult to find in London is a place that is happy to serve children with the respect they deserve, obviously only the well behaved children. The staff will help you choose what is best for the kids from the menu, making it a hassle free meal.
Finally he recommended the Boxwood Cafe. Yes it is one of his restaurants, but if someone is going to do kids meals right it will be him. There is a good selection of wine for the mums and dads, an essential element of a great family restaurant and some simple yet interesting dishes for the kiddies.
That is the list and it can't be topped in London!
