David Cameron has called for MP's to be investigated if it is clear that there may be some wrong doing with regards to their mortgage claims and expenses. It seems that for a lot of you, this doesn't go far enough, and it might just be too little too late.
I also told you that City Hall are cutting jobs to save money, but now it seems that a senior member of managerial staff is in line for a payrise. Is this even justified? How can anyone say that they will be cutting jobs to save money and then get awarded a payrise? I think there needs to be a tighter control kept on finances especially with the recent revelations.
Finally, I spoke to Bob Crow, General Secretary of the RMT Union about the purpose of the proposed strikes, and what they hope to achieve. How are these strikes going to be affecting you? I heard from one texter who said that he had to cancel a Dr's appointment simply because he was unable to there. Are the unions becoming too powerful? Do we need to stop peoples right to strike?
