Will an inquiry give us the answers we want?

Should we have a public inquiry into the 7/7 attacks, and do you welcome a police investigation into the expenses scandal?

It's been four years since one of the worst attacks on our city took place, but we're still not any closer to knowing why it happened in the first palce. As arguably one of the most important cities in the world, and as the capital city of England, we should have been ready and prepared for what took place. It's time that we had a public inquiry and found out why the good people of our city suffered.

I spoke to the former Chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life, Sir Alistair Graham about the expenses scandal. It seems to be a row that we all thought was going away, but with the publication online of all the MP's expenses, albeit with edits, it's back again. The police are likely to be investigating the matter, and I'm wondering if it's too little too late. In all honesty, if you claim money back for items that aren't essential to your living, then you must face the consequences.

I'm back with you next week
