It was a big week in City Hall as Mayor Boris announced his budget for the year. Some were pleased with it but many lost out including the Metropolitan police. In the studio, Darren Johnson, Chair of the London Assembly and Mike Tuffrey Head of the Liberal Democrat group worked through the various aspects of the budget. I also spoke to Brian Coleman from the Conservative group who defended the budget and also found himself defending his stance on fire fighters shifts.
I also discussed the contentious issue of polyclinics in London. A and E departments across London are set to close so that polyclinics can be introduced, but is this going to help? Many of you had your say on the issue, and it turns out some of you had positive things to say about them.
More from me next week
