The new US embassy will be moving over to Wandsworth but does anyone in the area, or even London like the building? To me the building does not look like something that's becoming of such a major city - if we need to live with the building, then we need to be happy with it! As far as I know, there was no consultation with local residents over whether they even wanted the embassy in their area. I also discussed a problem that cropped up in Mayors Question TIme this week - is Boris trying to socially engineer an area of London? It seems that people in social housing in Hammersmith and Fulham are being moved on and what is actually good housing, being torn down. I spoke to Andy Slaughter MP and Councillor Harry Phibbs about it all.
