Personality or policy?

What is more likely to make you vote in the general election, personality or policy?

After the second debate, David Mellor joined me again in the studio to help me cut through what we heard on Thursday.

It seems that what really stuck out from the debates is the lack of focus on certain policies. The leaders debate was supposed to be about foreign policy but they over looked major issues in the Middle East. Do you think that key areas of policy were overlooked? I thought that whilst the leaders are in a debate, they were still very stage managed and we didn't get their real opinions.

I also asked you what influences your vote - personality or policy? It seems that policy won overall, but that might just be because all the leaders are really lacking any real charm or charisma.

I was joined also in the studio by Liberal Democrat blogger Mark Thompson who gave us his views on Nick Cleggs performance at the debate.

More from me next week following the final debate.
