This morning I was bus chasing;
Missed the 170
Missed the 19
Missed the 11.
Finally caught the 22 from the Kings Road, sat on the top deck, front seat and had a long chat with my agent.
Climbed out on Piccadilly, the bus driver kindly opened the doors for us at the traffic lights.
Crossed over the road and had two boiled eggs and ciabatta soldiers ( Italian militia with my meal ) and met Sophie, a French student of fine Art, studying in Dublin and a life time of experience behind her.
We talked as I dropped eggshell over my dungarees, and carried on parleying as I spilt green tea over my trainers.
We exchanged telephone numbers and I walked into LBC Towers bang on, all full on little brown eggs and butter.
Middle aged drinking, middle aged politeness and Coming Out parties. That was on the menu today.
I interviewed Rikki Beadle-Blair about the movie of his stage play FIT. Given that Gareth Thomas, former Welsh rugby captain threw a glittering bash for his Coming Out Party, we spent the last hour laughing and sharing positive experiences about being gay.
A posse of my gay friends are coming to the RADLETT CENTRE on MARCH 21 to see me being as camp as hell. Here are the details of my spring extravaganza.
