Having a child and going straight back to work. Why do you send your child to boarding school? Find out where your food is from thanks to film, Food Inc.

By the time I reached LBC Towers I was so hungry I could have eaten the whole carcass of a freshly prepared horse.

Don’t be ridiculous, having seen ‘FOOD INC’  last week the idea of eating any animal that has not been reared by a loving farmer in a field somewhere in Great Britain fills me with dread, antibiotics, corn syrup and whatever else rubbish they put into our animals.

I interviewed ROBBIE KENNER the director of ‘FOOD INC’ and if you want to hear the shocking facts about factory farming in the US please podcast the said interview, it will blow your mind.  For more details on film screenings, click here.

Doctor Helen Wright, headmistress at a top Public school, had her third child and was back teaching seven hours later. Okay having a baby is not about illness but bonding? Cooing? Caring for your own body? What kind of message is she giving out to her gels…

If sending your child away to boarding school when they are only eight-years-old makes you cry, WHY DO IT? The idea that a child is ready to be ripped away from the family home so young is anathema to me.  If an eight-year-old child is orphaned or abandoned we scream with pain and indignation and yet we let the monied classes pay for the benefit of screwing up their kids. Who picks up the pieces?

I’m going to see THE BLIND SIDE tonight with Sandra Bullock, well actually I’m going with my daughter but you know what I mean.
