DNA, Darwin and chip shops

Do you know your family tree? What makes a good Chippy?

Hello,

This morning we traced our family trees, instigated by the latest project to map the ancestry Charles Darwin, where it was discovered that they were amongst the first wave of modern humans to leave Africa for the Middle East around 45,000 years ago. We discussed the benefits of knowing where you’ve come from, in order to get a firm hold on where you are heading. The increasing interest in genealogy and the rich history forming a crucial timeline to our history. Also, the storm brewing as firms slash free tea and coffee for their staff. We talked about the freebies available to employees, and the morale boost a free drink can provide. On the subject of expenses the MP’s balance sheets have finally come to light, with the report costing more for the taxpayer than the money repaid by the politicians themselves. Irony? Welcome to Britain! Finally, we celebrated the best fish and chip shops in the UK, with several nominations for London.

I’m back on Monday @ 1am.
