A third of young people 'rely on parents to live'

Hola,

This morning we looked at the latest statistics that show more than a third of young people are being forced to borrow money from their parents just to meet their daily living costs. We asked if you feel aggrieved when helping your children who could be supporting themselves. Would you hand over your life savings to support your offspring? Are we generally living beyond our means, and are our kids never hearing the word no? Plus the survey that suggests community spirit accelerated during the cold spell. And, the cruise ship hit by an 8 metre rogue wave that killed two people in the Mediteranian. We discussed safety on board, and also in the air, after a child landed aircraft from Air Traffic Control at JFK in New York. All that, plus a full review of the morning papers, including the state visit by the South African President, and the death of Michael Foot.

Back tomorrow @ 1am.
