Shop Collapses After Fire

Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to South Norwood in the early hours of this morning (December 13).

The fire severely damaged the single story shop on Clifford Road, named locally as Sharp Edge Barbers, which then collapsed.

It took almost two and a half hours for the fire to be put out and twelve people had to be evacuated from a property nearby.

The cause of it is now being investigated.
