A notorious gang boss serving 35 years for murder has won the right to force his prison guards to call him Mr Gunn after he complained he was not spoken to with enough respect.

As Justice Secretary Kenneth Clarke is set to announce wide-ranging prison reforms, Nick asks what is wrong with the prison service. He spoke to  Paul McDowell from the National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders and Juliet Lyon from the Prison Reform Trust.
