Morning Team,!
Is there anyone out there? Ah yes, that’s better…..Well, we have had a bit of a computer nightmare this morning, so made a quick dash to the other studio.I spent the morning sat in Nick Ferraris chair, so it should be nice and warm for him now, which is very nice on this rather cold day…….I do hope it doesn’t rain tonight though, because I’m switching on the Christmas Lights in Twickenham! There will be entertainment and stalls, as well as a hog-roast on Church Street. I suppose if the heavens do open I can wow-the-crowd with my umbrella that lights up! That’ll go lovely with the shiny jacket I’ll be wearing – you’ll be able to sport me that’s for sure!
It was nice to see John Warrington today, although he had sex on the brain, not what we want to hear about at that time of the morning! The next time we will see him, we would have settled into the new building – very exciting!Roger Foss was on the phone today, which felt very strange, because of course, we usually speak to him on a Thursday….but at least it gave us the chance to talk about Graham Norton appearing in the West End in La Cage aux Folles – he will be playing the roll that Douglas Hodge did – very big shoes to fill, although I’m sure he will be fantastic!
Oh by the way, if you’ve never tried an ostrich steak before I would recommend it. We were given a load of meat yesterday by Hillman Butchers and I ate the ostrich last night – delicious! I think I might have the polish bacon later.
Right then, I’m off to sign the documents for my replacement car and then get a bit of rest before this evening. It would be lovely to see you all there – the switch on is at 0530pm. If you don’t make it, then I will give you the gossip when I’m back on Sunday Morning.
Bye bye for now,
Steve.
