Morning Team!
Hiccough! Oh do excuse me, Alan Dodgeon and myself have had a morning full of festive cheer ….or liquor chocolates, either way it's all very seasonal and besides we needed something to warm us up this morning, because it's another chilly one folks - Hugh Broom in the travel centre says there is snow in Cumbria! Fingers crossed it reaches further south to us! Although Alan kept on moaning that he was hot! It must have been that tequila choc he scoffed - it didn't seem to agree with him at all, honestly you've never seen anything like it - he looked like a small child who had been force-fed a Brussel sprout!
If Alan thought he was hot, he should spare a thought for Greg Byrnes, we spoke to him today on the phone from Sydney and he told us that Christmas just isn't the same on that side of the World - I wouldn't particularly like my turkey and all the trimmings in 35c heat! Although he told us that the Aussies do like decorating their houses with all the lights and fake snow! No, give me Lapland any day, proper snow, reindeers and fantastic father Christmases - not like the Santa's Grotto I was telling you about in the New Forest, which turned out to be a total rip off. It was £30 per person and when you got there it looked like a building site! The customers that did go waited in line for 3 hours to see Father Christmas! There are reports that one of the fathers was fighting with an elf! I wonder who won?........
I have passed on some pictures from Friday evening to the producer to put on the website, but she has to get IT to do it or something, but anyway, they will be coming your way soon! (IT have done their magic and here are pictures of the Twickenham Christmas Light switch on).
Right folks, I'm off to Leicester Square now! It's all very exciting, I wonder if I should smuggle some stuff in with me to save the crate space?......I'll have one of these choccies first.
See you tomorrow - hiccough!
Steve.
