And here we are at the end of another week and it'll soon be Christmas; in fact I'd better get cracking with the Christmas shopping!
Did you hear the one about the Essex girl who went to a poetry reading? No? Well you will do soon, because a new charity has been set-up to provide activities and training for Essex girls who are feeling low self esteem as a result of all the jokes levelled at them! I can't wait to hear Jodi Marsh's first attempts at poetry, or perhaps Chantelle will dazzle us all with her art shows? Apparently, the charity has already received donations of over £35,000…….I'm thinking of setting up a charity myself actually:- The society for the protection of bewildered early morning radio presenters, although I think it's too late to save Wogan now.
John Warrington was in fine fettle this morning, although his 'recipe' for his meal of ham and eggs is far from controversial - have a listen to the podcast for that eye opener!
Right folks, the weekend starts here! It will be a relief to rest my voice for a coupe of days and have a bit of a lie in….something that poor old Penny Smith will be able to enjoy very soon…..
