Morning Team!
It's a miracle I managed to survive the show! Those of you listening this morning would have heard our showbiz editor, Jo Parkerson furiously filling whilst I had a bit of a funny turn. It soon passed, but I did feel rather queasy for a few minuets, it could have been a result of me missing my porridge this morning, but it's more likely to be the realization that the producer has indeed got my state of the art DVD player!
The one I bought for her was £28.50 …. The machine she walked off with is worth £80! It was a mix up with the dispatchers and I've told her to keep it, but really, it's just bloomin' typical isn't it? I mean, you try to do something nice and end up with the lower quality DVD player! I think I'm starting to feel nauseous again, so I had better change the subject!
Not only did the lovely Ms Parkerson come to my rescue this morning, but she provided us with all the gossip from The Oscars. She delivered the latest news about the winners and the low down on those all important parties - well done Jo, now go and get some sleep!
Susan Spence also joined us to go through the soaps, but honestly, most of the story lines are so annoying, I think you would be much better off to just keep listening to LBC 97.3; honestly, Emmerdale has NOTHING on all the goings on here!
