Yes, of course it’s great to spend hours and hours on long, slow, sensuous lovemaking. But hey – a quickie is just as wonderful if in a totally different way! (One American study suggests an average quickie takes seven minutes….)
Making love on the spur of the moment, hastily, spontaneously – it not only shows your beloved that you *want* them so much you just can’t wait. It also has all sorts of physical goodies – the speedy excitement gets adrenalin pumping and your hormones in full working order. And, in a world where we are so often busy, busy, busy, quickies keep your sex life active - even if time is short.
So how do you make the best of a quickie? Here’s my tip list:
Seize the moment!
Don’t delay – if both of you feel like it (or even
if just one of you does), then go for it. Put aside your embarrassment
and even any lack of arousal – if you start, then you’ll probably
finish. The only barrier should be if you’re going to frighten the
horses!
Major on lubrication
For her in particular, the secret of
enjoyable quickies will be whether she’s lubricated or not. You
probably won’t have any dedicated lubricant handy - so use saliva
instead.
Go for instant arousal
Deep kissing to start with, then let her use
her hands (and mouth if you’re sure you can’t be seen) to get him
erect. If she’s finding it difficult to get up to speed, it may be more
reliable to let her arouse herself.
Camouflage
If you’re in public, use positions that provide camouflage.
