TFL Faces Half a million funding gap
The row over who pays for upgrading the tube has escalated this morning, after confirmation that Transport for London's facing a half a billion pound funding gap.
Boris Johnson's threatening legal action against a ruling that the cost of improving the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Northern lines is more than TfL had budgeted for.
The RMT union's called on the mayor to terminate the contract of Tube Lines, the company responsible for maintaining those lines.
