The History Of London Buses - In Pictures
Nick Ferrari will be launching the new Routemaster bus for London as he presents his Breakfast Show live from the new bus on Friday 16th December.
The so-called Boris Bus has designed to re-introduce the traditional hop-on, hop-off open platform at the back. Tune in from 7am to hear Nick live from the bus at City Hall with the Mayor of London.

One of the earliest pictures of a London bus - Shillibeer's Omnibus from 1829. Passengers were travelling between Paddington and Bank with the fare as one shilling.
Buses ran every three hours, with 18 passengers simply flagging down the bus anywhere on the route.
