The Chair

James began his media career at the Daily Express where he became the youngest showbiz editor on Fleet Street. He fronted Five Talk, Five's ground-breaking phone-in for the 2001 general election. He presents London's most popular daytime phone-in show on LBC and writes a games column for the Daily Mail.

The Panel

Matthew Taylor became Chief executive of the RSA in November 2006.  Prior to this appointment, he was Chief Adviser on Political Strategy to the Prime Minister. He was Labour's Director of Policy for the 1997 General Election and was one of the key influencers behind New Labour.

Born in Lambeth and now living in Cricklewood, Ken Livingstone is a Londoner first and foremost. He is standing to be Labour’s candidate for mayor of London in 2012, having previously served as mayor for eight years. He presents a Saturday morning show on LBC.
