The Marathon is back!

marathon-lastyear.jpgThe Flora London Marathon returns on Sunday 25th April with around 25,000 athletes, fun-runners and celebrities taking to the streets for a gruelling 26.2 mile run.

The most famous marathon in the world takes in many of our capital's most celebrated landmarks. Beginning at 9am in Blackheath, the 26.2mile course, winds and weaves its way past Greenwich Park, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, the Tower of London and Big Ben before ending on the Mall, under the gaze of Buckingham Palace.

It's an amazing day for runners and spectators alike with pubs laying on parties and themed events, and bands and DJs playing along the route.
