Mayor of London Boris Johnson wants 20,000 vocational places to be created in the capital by the end of this academic year.This week is the start of national apprenticeship week with the Government urging employers to create 100,000 more places over the next three years.
The coalition is putting £1.4 billion into the budget for it.
Nick spoke to Boris Johnson about his plans for the capital - and also brought up the topic of London's Underground system after yet another day of disruption on the tube.
