A woman who was taken into care after her mother became addicted to heroin won the hearts of London when she phoned Nick Ferrari this morning.
Poppy phoned LBC to discuss Michael Wilshaw's comments that parents should be punished if they don't read to their children or go to parents' evenings.
The 20-year-old listener revealed that her mother was addicted to heroin and she was taken into care.
But her resilient and positive attitude wowed Londoners and Nick was inundated with messages of support for Poppy.
