Tube Power Workers Strike Suspended

A strike by power workers on the tube - which has been going on for a fortnight - has been suspended.
The walkout had been due to continue for another week as part of a row over issues such as pay, pensions and working conditions.
Mick Cash, acting general secretary of the Rail, Maritime and Transport
union, said "real progress" was made during talks at the conciliation
Industrial action has been suspended with immediate effect while an offer is considered in detail.
