Ian Payne wants to know what you think was the most memorable event of the past 12 months.

Was it the riots that spread from London across the country? Was it the wedding which saw London become the focal point for global attention? Or was it the return of the hacking scandal which resulted in the closure of the News of the World.

Or perhaps none of the above.
